Reminder: Earthquake Drill & Urgent Alert Test Tomorrow, 10/15

Dear Paso Schools Families,

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, at 10:15 AM, PRJUSD students and staff will participate in the annual Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill, joining millions of people across California in practicing earthquake preparedness.

During the drill, students and staff will practice earthquake safety routines and emergency procedures.

PRJUSD will also test our Urgent Alert feature in ParentSquare tomorrow. This feature allows the District to quickly notify staff and families in the event of a true emergency.

Urgent Alerts override individual ParentSquare notification preferences, including settings that turn off notifications or delay their delivery until a preferred time of day.

Please remember that tomorrow's Urgent Alert is only a test and will be clearly labeled as such. No action is required when you receive the test notification.

To help ensure you receive tomorrow's alert, please take a moment to verify that your cell phone number is current in Aeries and update it if necessary.

Thank you for helping us keep our schools prepared and our families informed!
