Announcements are posted daily. To submit an announcement request please click here. New announcement requests are due daily at 2:00pm the day before they run. Please submit requests as far in advance as possible.
INTRESTED IN TRAVELING?
Are you interested in exploring France and Spain this summer? There will be an information meeting Tuesday, 9/22 in Mr. Smith's classroom, #103. This is a non-school sponsored trip and a parent or guardian needs to attend. For more information and to RSVP, please see Mr. Smith in Room 103
Senior Pictures
Attention Class of 2027! Senior photo submissions are now open via a Google Form sent to your school email where you can submit your chosen senior photo, activities list, and senior quote. If you don't submit a photo of your choice, we'll use your LifeTouch/student ID photo, and students who didn't take a LifeTouch photo or do not complete the form will not be featured in the yearbook. Make sure to get your form done by October 14th.
Work Permits:
Please pick up your work permits, they have been completed.
PRide Points
Want to earn some easy PRide Points? Ask your teachers to give you spirit points on Friday...OR...go on Minga and there are fun polls to take where you can earn PRide Points and have a little fun. Freshman Class is definitely winning...will you make the leader board?
HOMECOMING
Come to the Homecoming event after the football game. Tickets are on sale everyday but Wednesdays in the ASB office. $5 with ASB $10 without ASB. There will be live music and a DJ, dancing, food games and more fun. Bring your friends and hang out. HOCOCHELLA ends at 11:30pm.
Bearcat PRide
Tuesday's The Bearcat PRide word for Tuesday is R for Resilient! Learn from mistakes, support each other and refocus back on the right path! We can do this Bearcats!
M.E.Ch.A
M.E.Ch.A is hosting loteria lunch again, students can bring their lunch to bearcat hall on Tuesday Sept 29th.
FIELD STUDIES
Join the Field Studies Collaborative (FSC) for a week of hands-on science and field research on Santa Cruz Island, November 19–24. Students will conduct field research, collect data, and explore the island’s unique ecosystems. Applications are due Monday, September 28, and open to all 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Our first meeting is Thursday, October 1st at lunch in Room 403. Students selected for the program will also meet Friday mornings and some afternoons leading up to the trip. Interested? Apply online!
Cuesta Promise
Seniors - Cuesta Promise Day invites high school seniors to learn about The Cuesta Promise, discover their Area of Study, explore major interests, and Cuesta’s resources. Designed for any 12th grade student who is Cuesta bound or may even be on the fence about post college plans.
CAL POLY
We’re excited to invite you to participate in "Cal Poly's Expressing Engineering To Youngsters", an outreach event hosted by the SWE organization at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. We are excited to present a hands-on, engaging STEM activity to introduce students to problem-solving, creativity, and the world of engineering! Space is limited so reach out to Ms. Norris for a pass or scan the QR codes on the posters around campus!
BEARCAT SPIRIT
Bearcats! There is so much happening next week! Spirit days are out and we want you to go all in! Check out on Minga and @prcrimsoncrew insta to find out about the Spirit days, about the pep rally and about the halftime and post game event! Tshirts go on sale this Monday and we are excited to see you all out making Bearcat culture even better
PICTURE DAY MAKE UP:
Picture make-ups and retakes will be held on October 21st, 2026. School Photo order forms can be found online (Picture Day ID: EVTJM74X6) or in the PRHS Main Office.
