Good Afternoon Bearcat Family!
This is a reminder that over the past several months we have slowly stepped up our enforcement with regards to student tardies and cuts. The system we use to communicate home when these student lapses occurs is called Minga. That might be a name that some of us have never heard of, but if you receive an email from Minga please know that it is coming from a school system. If you ever have any questions about these emails parents can always reach out to their child's counselor or assigned Assistant Principal, or me.
Speaking of alerts, we still have at least one more student safety drill planned for the weeks ahead, which means PRHS parents will receive an additional alert through Parent Square. The alert will clearly identify it as drill related. Thank you for your support of these important systems.
Moving on, I know it is a somewhat recurring theme with my weekly messages but with the change of the calendar into May I think we can officially start framing the year as the beginning of the end. Especially for our seniors and their families it will repeatedly occur over the coming weeks that we are entering 'last time' territory; as in the last home game, or the last performance, or last dance, with last test, last Friday, and last day of high school for our seniors soon to follow. Let's make them count.
Many of these milestones are there for non-seniors as well., they just don't summon the same emotions. But the four years of high school are such a brief season in our lives. Make sure to appreciate these moments as they fly on by. Enjoy it all and as a pro-tip, stay involved and invested to slow down these last few weeks.
As always, I wish everyone a great week.
Go Bearcats!
