PRHS Cheer Tryouts
2026/2027 Cheer tryouts will be held the week of March 30th
MANDATORY Pre-Tryout Meeting - March 23rd @ 6pm in Bearcat Hall
Optional Open Gyms - March 24 & 26 from 6:30-8:30pm
Tryout Clinics - March 30/31 and April 2 from 6:30-8:30
Evaluations - Friday, April 3 starting at 10am

Applications Available for the 2026 Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant
Applications are now open for the 2026 Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant, and young women across San Luis Obispo County are invited to apply. Hosted by the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, this longstanding program offers far more than a crown — it provides scholarship funding, leadership development, and an empowering opportunity to grow in confidence while representing the community. Eligible applicants must be between 18–24 years old (or a graduating high school senior) and reside in San Luis Obispo County. No previous pageant experience is required. Contestants compete in Personal Interview, Talent Presentation, Evening Gown, Fair Platform Proposal, and Final Question. The unique Fair Platform Proposal encourages participants to present an original idea that enhances the guest experience at the Fair, fostering creativity and real-world problem solving. For more information, please visit www.misscmsf.com. Scholarships available for the Queen and Court, Miss Congeniality, Best in Interview and Talent. The 2026 Pageant will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 6:00PM on the Frontier Stage, continuing the Fair’s 80-year tradition of celebrating outstanding young women. Applications are available now. The Informational Meeting is March 25, 2026 at 6:00PM, and applications are due April 17, 2026.
