Good Afternoon and Welcome Back Bearcat Families!
With a short week upon us and an important event coming up on Wednesday (tomorrow) I didn't want this week's message getting lost in the Sunday evening shuffle. So, I hope this catches everyone's attention.
On Wednesday, April 15, at 9:00 AM, we will be practicing a lockdown drill to practice our school site-specific routines and procedures to be followed in the event of an actual lockdown. We routinely practice emergency drills in preparation for fire, earthquake, and lockdown scenarios.
This message is to inform you that your child will be participating in this drill and to encourage you to discuss it with your child when they come home from school.
It can be uncomfortable to think about these things but school Lock-Downs drills are something that we take very seriously. Thank you for your cooperation.
I hope everyone had a phenomenal break from school these past few days. We are now in the home stretch with about 8 weeks of classes left before the semester comes to a close in June. Every class, every assignment and every assessment really counts, so let's all finish strong.
Have a great week everyone.
Sincerely,
Mike Susank,
Principal and Assistant Principal for Athletics
