Good Afternoon Bearcats!
It came to my attention that several of the links that I included in last weeks newsletter didn't function properly. I am sorry about that oversight. I am going to try posting them again (and testing them before I send this out) and I hope that fixes the issue. Thank you all, in advance for taking the time to complete these surveys.
We find ourselves right around the 125th instructional day of the school year (out of 180). That means we are now closer to the end of school than we are to the beginning. There is still enough time left for tremendous growth in every student, and even for reversing any 'academic slide' that may have started to emerge this semester. But especially for our seniors, the time is just moving right along, so I hope everyone can make sure to enjoy the ride as we move into March.
With Spring just in front of us please make note that absences and tardies will start to accumulate. Generally, our school understands the occasional lapse in student responsibility, but as a student accrues multiple tardies there is a school issued consequence (detention). Parents and students will be informed should those limits be approached (and if they are exceeded) with emails home. There is no more important aspect of learning than being present, on-time, every day in every period.
Thank you, everyone for your partnership, and Go Bearcats!
Regards,
Mike Susank
