Chromebooks

If another student takes your Chromebook and we cannot locate it, you will be charged a fine

for the replacement price or deductible if you have purchased District insurance.

 

If you need your device charged, you can borrow a charger or

leave your Chromebook with the library staff to charge for the period.

Chromebook Insurance can be purchased at the library through September 30th in the form of cash or check.  It can also be purchased online through September 30th at https://prjusd.graystep.com/.  New students have 2 weeks to purchase insurance.

 

Students that purchase Chromebook Insurance will have reduced fees if the Chromebook is lost or damaged.  Here is the fine matrix showing fees with and without Chromebook Insurance.

 

Charger cord replacements can be received at the library.  A $25.00 fee is added to the student's account for missing or additional chargers.  Chromebook Insurance does not cover the fee for chargers.

Hotspots are available for checkout if students qualify.  Hotspot insurance can be purchased for $5.00 for the school year.
