Mr. Smith's England Trip Enrollment Meeting
Missed the Fall meeting for Mr. Smith's 2026 trip to England but still want a chance to explore London? There will be a second enrollment meeting Thursday, 1/23 to go over all the details for this amazing trip. See Mr. Smith in room 103 for details and to RSVP for the trip!
Let's have PIZZA and support the Class of 2027!
Class of 2027 is having a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza Wednesday, January 22 from 4 - 9 PM. Blaze pizza will donate 20% of all proceeds to the Class of 2027. Show the attached flyer at the register or order ahead using promo code: 1239A
LA Fire Support
Leadership is looking for donations to help the people affected by the LA fires.
2025 Girls Swim Team
Pre-season swim workouts start next week. Girls interested in joining the swim team come to an information meeting on Thursday 1/16 in room 1018 for A lunch and 1028 for B lunch. Or stop by an chat with Coach Bellew or Coach Valadez. No experience necessary.
Men's Swim Team Interest Meeting
If you are interested in joining the men's swim and dive team, we will be holding a meeting in room 1101 on Tuesday the 21st of February.
If you have any questions feel free to email Coach Moore at [email protected] or stop by the boys PE office with any questions.
Boys Tennis Tryouts
Boys' tennis tryouts will be on the tennis courts from Monday, January 13th, 2:45—5:30 p.m. to Tuesday, January 14th, through Friday, January 17th, 3:45—5:30 p.m.
All are welcome. You don't need any prior experience. If you have a racket, great; if not, one will be provided.
If you have any questions, go by room 306 and see Coach Diaz.
Baseball Tryouts
Baseball tryouts will be held Monday, January 13th through Thursday, January 16th from 4-6:30pm at Barnhart Field. You must be cleared in Home Campus to tryout. If you are a winter athlete, you will have the opportunity to tryout at a later time.
California Scholarship Federation
There is a mandatory meeting for all 10th graders that may qualify for CSF. This Organization's mission is to recognize and encourage academic achievement and community service among middle and high school students in California. Students that qualify usually have a 3.5 GPA or better. Points are given based on academic rigor and grades. If you think you qualify come to room 507 Wednesday January 29th during tutorial. In order to get a chord for your graduation you need qualify 4 of the 6 semesters.
Juniors and Seniors who are already members can just pick up the application in the ASB office.
Deadline to submit and pay is February 13th.
Poetry Out Loud!
Poetry out loud will be held in the PAC on January 28th at 4p.m. Find a poem on poetryoutloud.org and recite it during the event. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will get prizes and the winner continues onto the county-wide competition. To sign up join the POL google classroom and respond to the google form posted. See the flier for the classroom code.
Softball Workouts
Softball workouts are happening now. Make sure you are cleared in Home Campus before participating. Workouts are on the softball field Tuesdays and Thursday 5-7pm until tryouts on January 30th.
Dive Practice begins this week!
Attention all students! Preseason Diving practice begins this week!
Practices will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Municipal Pool in Paso Robles.
No diving experience is necessary! Coach McRoy will be there to teach you everything you need to know.
Important: Make sure you have a current physical on file and have completed your Home Campus registration before attending practice.

Beach Volleyball Tryouts
Beach volleyball tryouts will be held Monday, January 13th from 3-4:30pm and Wednesday, January 15th from 3:45-5:15pm at the beach courts by the district office. If you are currently in a winter sport, you are allowed to tryout if it does not interrupt with a practice or game and also with your coach permission. You must be cleared in Home Campus to tryout.
Paleontology Club Meeting
Are you interested in dinosaurs and other ancient species? If so, come stop by after school on Wednesdays at the Paleontology Club, held at room 404 at Mr. Greenberg's room. Join us as we watch movies and discuss topics relating to paleontology, including career opportunities.
Attention Seniors, only 5 spots left for grad night
There are only 5 spots left for the grad trip to Disneyland. If you are interested in going get your ticket at lunch Tuesday or Thursday. If we sell out of tickets there will be a wait list and if we get enough people to fill another bus we can open the sales up again.
Spring PSAT/SAT Testing
Spring PSAT 10 & SAT Testing purchase opens Dec. 2nd, 2024.
PSAT 10 test day is Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. 9th & 10th Grade consider taking this test.
SAT test day Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. 11th & 12th Grade consider taking this test.
Last day to purchase either is Tuesday, January 21st, 2025
Saturday School
If you need to make up some missed days of school to get off the Student Accountability List or just want to have Perfect Attendance come to the attendance office to pick up a Saturday School slip that needs to be signed in order to hold a spot for you. Seniors, don't wait until the end of the year to start making up missed classes. One day of Saturday School will clear up to 1 full day of missed school and up to 10 tardies. We look forward to seeing you. The scheduled dates are on the window of the Attendance Office.
Crimson Closet and Bearnecessities now open during tutorial
Crimson Closet is now open during Thursday tutorial! Stop by room 109 to get a Minga pass in order to come and pick out up to 5 items of clothing for free. This year we have expanded, introducing....Bearnecessities! Bearnecessities offers an assortment of toiletry items for those days you forget to brush your hair or forget to put deodorant on! You are welcome to as many items needed so our Bearcats can rest at ease with Bearnecessities.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (AKA FCA) Meeting
Hey Bearcats, Fellowship of Christian Athletes or FCA welcomes EVERYONE! We meet every Thursday for both A Lunch in the Leadership classroom, room 503 with Mr. Allen, and B lunch in Mr. Mount's room 604. Join us for pizza, fellowship, games, and The Word.
