Cuesta

DID YOU KNOW....
You can take classes at Cuesta College while you are still in high school! PRHS offers many Duel Enrolled classes during the school day but you also have the option of becoming an Enrichment Student. This means you can get a head start on your career or college classes by taking classes through Cuesta outside of the school day. We've designed this page to help you with Cuesta Programs. Click on one below for more information!

SO YOU WANT TO TAKE A CLASS THROUGH CUESTA…?

Before you begin the process there are some things you should be aware of and take into consideration. All PRHS students wanting to take a classes through Cuesta Enrichment must have earned a grade of “A” or better in their last English class or a “B” if the English class was honors/AP. Any student wanting to take a class through Cuesta outside of the regular school day should have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA or better. Cuesta classes are college credit (they will appear on your college transcript), this means you should make sure you’ll have the time to do the work to receive a passing grade. One semester of a subject at Cuesta is the equivalent to one school year at PRHS. If you haven’t talked to a counselor or someone at the Career Center yet, we highly recommend you do so!
