Beach Volleyball
TRYOUTS will be held next Monday, January 13th, from 3-4:30 PM at the Beach Courts next door to the District Office and a second day, Wednesday, January 15th, from 3:45-5:15 PM also at the Beach Courts.
IF YOU ARE IN A WINTER SPORT STILL, you are allowed to try out IF it DOES NOT interrupt your current winter sports schedule like a practice or a game. I have spoken personally to the soccer coaches and the Varsity Basketball head coach, and we are making every attempt to create a fair opportunity for all athletes to both remain engaged in the current season of sport and allow for us to plan for the upcoming season. Your current season games and practices will remain your primary concern until that season is over if you make the Beach Volleyball Team. You will NOT be expected to carry a schedule with Beach Volleyball until your previous season has concluded beyond try outs.
Please communicate fully with your in season coach as well as myself for these arrangements. Our goal is to offer opportunity not pressure.
To try out for beach volleyball on Home Campus, you must be completely cleared. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. If you are not clear, you will not be allowed to try out until you have been cleared.
Please come ready for all types of climate on the beach courts. The weather changes in an instant, so bring layers. We are excited to kick off a great season.
It's our own little beach... we work hard, we have great attitudes and we have fun.
