Ocean League Finals took place on Monday, May 1 Paso Robles Golf Club. The Bearcats shot a team score of 423 to win League Finals and ultimately place 2nd in the Ocean League. The team will advance to compete in the CIF Division II Championships on Tuesday, May 9 at Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia. PRHS was led by Mark Boatman. Mark shot a personal best even par 70 and won the tournament by 7 strokes. Coach Kevin Leclair is extremely proud of Mark. In the 9 years that he has been coaching boys' golf at PRHS Mark's league final score is the lowest competitive score posted by any Bearcat. In addition, Mark earned the honor of League MVP by averaging a score of 79 over the course of the season. Way to go Bearcats!
