The Paso Robles Men's Volleyball program has begun its season. The Bearcats have only had 3 pre-league matches thus far. On Thursday, February 23rd the Bearcats hosted the Salinas Cowboys. The Cowboys took the match with a score of 3-1. Then, on Tuesday, February 28th, the Bearcats traveled to Pioneer Valley. The Panthers took the match with a score of 3-1.
The Bearcats played both teams and all sets were really close. Unfortunately the Bearcats had a few too many errors at critical times of the matches. There was a sense that the Bearcats were on the verge of taking those close losses into hard-fought victories.
On Thursday, March 2nd, the Bearcats hosted the Immanuel Eagles.
The Bearcats were led by Captains Omar Acevedo (Sr) and Miguel Muniz (Sr), with great contributions from Bennett Reed (Jr) and Ezra Smeltzer (So). Additional contributions from Maxwell Berry (Jr) and his assists, and some great situational serving by Colin Daugherty (Fr).

The Bearcats started off shaky, but calmed their nerves and played some great volleyball in sets two through four.
