The students participated in a learning lab that trained licensed healthcare professionals to insert IV's for fluid replacement or drug administration, and then attended 8 lectures delivered by a variety of medical professionals on topics of athlete health. They did a fantastic job of presenting themselves as young professionals, and were complimented by many of the participating medical professionals. In addition to the conference the students were able to take a tour of the UC Davis Athletic Medical Facilities, and speak with two of the UC Davis Athletic Trainers and a current student intern. Our students showed amazing college and career readiness on this trip!
